Lao Tzu once said that “a journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step”. But we all know that the first step is always the hardest.
I created this blog page back in October 2011 – four years ago; just me being compulsive as always. I told myself that writing should not be that difficult, right? I looked around and saw a lot of friends didn’t seem to have any problem with writing their blog. I couldn’t have been more wrong.
Writing needs practice. Like everyone else I excpected my first couple of writing to be ready-to-read. Hell it didn’t happen. I read what I wrote and they were crappy. I got discouraged, I got lazy and I stopped writing.
Writing always is a huge challenge for me. My writing don’t have any logic because ideas are just jumping here and there inside my head. I don’t have the sophitication to arrange and choose those nice words into sentences. I find it difficult to express things in my own language, let alone in English. And I hate editing!
Today I re-open wordpress and they put a start-up title that reminds me to my first fortran code. I had an immense excitement when the code compiled and worked. When I write this page, I can feel that joy.
I know it won’t be easy, I know there will be a lot of ortograph and grammar mistakes, but hey, I did it, I wrote my “Hello world!”!
